Lockdown Challenge - Day 23
The last Friday of the challenge, and what a miserable start to the day, nothing to be seem but fog and more fog!
Never the less we still made our way out for a walk on our lunch break, sporting some rather eye catching clothing, we went to our local park for a walk and took the opportunity to get some photos too.
One of the areas in the park is by a pond, which looked rather eerie with all of the fog around, the park completely deserted and quiet which gave us time to reflect on whats happened, the challenges we are doing, why we are doing them, and how we can help eachother push on to the next phase.
Two members of our team have a Cricut machine which allows them to make vinyl transfers for things like clothing and stickers. We had the high vis vest made up as we dont know what visibility will be like in some of the fells. So this should help us appear to be more visible and also allow us to spread the word when we are on our trips around the country.
A couple of shots here showing the front and rear of the vest.
Summary for the day:
1782 Miles travelled, 218 miles to go, 4 days left!
Its going to be a close finish!
All the best

Ladybower Reservoir walk.
Well this was an epic walk around Ladybower and Derwent Dam, it started off as a bright but chilly and windy day with weather warnings of gales travelling south, but for our expedition, it was just right for a walk, sheltered and no rain, however, it turned into an epic adventure in the end.
We drove to the Fairholmes visitor centre set just in front of one of the famous...

CONTEXT AND PERSPECTIVE
I live a life in the form of a split personality, a “Jekyll and Hyde” of sorts. I’m getting good at flicking between these two personalities, but in real life Mr. Jekyll only wants to keep you focussed on the past with only one perspective, a very narrow vanishing point, like looking down a train track, where your past extends along the track for as far as you can see, li...
